Be sure to check and double check your hood clearance. We didn't have any troubles. If the AirMax setup is sitting "too high", you need to make sure the bolts on the bottom of the AirMax are seated in the support bracket (as well as the grommet/tang arrangement on the backside of the AirMax housing). Push down on the AirMax assembly and rock it back and forth as needed to get it in place so that when the hood is closed, the AirMax unit will not damage your hood.
