Install the AirMax by lining up the grommet on the back of the AirMax with the OEM tang (see step 2) and by aligning the two bolts on the bottom of the AirMax hosing with the original support brackets (see step 4). Just keep moving things back and forth, aligning everything as best you can until it sits in place and you can attach the air inlet hose to the AirMax. Attach the vacuum hose that comes from the valve cover that originally went to the side of the OEM air filter box to the fitting on the AirMax. Now would also be a good time to reconnect your negative battery cable.
